China vs. the US: First Visits/The Diaoyu/Senkaku Islands-XXVII

Not so many people realize that a huge fight between China and the US is underway.  When Abe Shinzo took power in Japan last December, he mentioned that the first nation he would visit the United States. After a few months delay by the White House, Abe finally got his chance to meet President Obama in February. At this meeting he asked Obama to help with the Sino-Japanese territorial dispute, but Obama did not give the ultimate solution for Abe.

Interestingly, when Xi Jinping took power as president of China in March, his first visit was Russia. Xi met with President Putin in Moscow to discuss the World War II order. Geopolitics among China, Japan, the U.S. and Russia, is playing out now.

Fascinatingly, the first visiting country by President Obama’s second term is not a country in Asia, but a country in the Middle East – Israel. That is, according to the American media his first term policy of “Asian pivot” may be changed. The geopolitical game: China - Russia vs. Japan - the U.S., is playing out.
