The Seventh Veto by China/Doing Businesses in the Chinese Way-VI/China vs. USA: Syria Case-I

In October, France, the U.K., Germany, and Portugal and the US, presented a draft resolution to the UN security Council, seeking to condemn Syria for use of force against civilians. Unlike resolutions implemented against Libya, two countries: Russia and China vetoed the resolution against Syria. This was China’s seventh veto at the Security Council. The following are all Chinese veto at the UN:
1st: On 25 August 1972 (against Sri Lanka to join the UN)
2nd: On 10 September 1972 (against Palestine at the UN)
3rd: On 10 January 1979 (against the bill whose country associates with Taiwan)
4th: On 25 February 1999 (against the bill whose country associates with Taiwan)
5th: On 12 January 2007 (against Burma)
6th: On 11 July 2008 (against Zimbabwe)
7th: on 4 October 2011 (against Syria)
In the final analysis, China like the US, has its national interests too.
