China vs. USA: Iran Case-I
Iran’s news agencies announced that its defense forces brought down the American spy drone – RQ-170 in early December. The RQ-170 stealth aircraft played a critical role in the killing Osam bin Laden in April. Like B-2 bombers and the F-3 fighter jet, the RQ-170 has extremely sophisticated technology which might be leaked outside of the US. Many western nations, including Japan, cannot access these technologies. Some Western media have claimed that Iran radars provided by both Russia and China might have shot down the RQ-170. On December 10, Tehran’s state television showed the intact of the American stealth drone. Obama has asked
Iran to return the RQ-170, but is unlikely to do so. Surely, both Iran Russia and are looking forward to having these pieces of the RQ-170. By January 2012, Iran decided to return the miniature of the RQ-170, about one-eightieth of the size of the original aircraft, to the US (Japan Times, 19 January 2012). China
