The 3,200-megawatt Myitsone Dam in Burma has been suspended after Burma’s government decided to put construction on hold. News media reported that Burma stopped the project after an environmental assessment indicated that there were problems. Well, all behind this dam is that the US has been improved its relationships with Burma recently. The US wishes that there are enough trouble for China to deal with ASEAN countries including issues of South China Sea in the Asian Region.
