Obama’s Second State of the Union/Obama Will Choose China or Japan-II

On 25 January 2011, the 44th President of the United States delivered his second  State of the Union address. In his 62-minutes speech, Obama mentioned “China” four times, did not mention “Japan” at all. The following day, all Japanese newspapers reported that Obama did not refer to Japan at all, the second consecutive years that Japan was not mentioning by the President of the United States. Even though the US and Japan have the security treaty, Japan is not priority for Obama, but China is because China might be able to help him reduce a near 10.0 percent unemployment rate. In fact, the security treaty is legacy of the Cold War. It is too sad that the Japanese media, which has been viewed as the third rate media, needing to change their Cold War mentality first.
