Third Time to Come Japan?
The Oliver Hazard Perry Class frigates was well-known in the US Navy, named after American hero Oliver Hazard Perry, the older brother of Matthew Calbraith Perry, who is famous in Japanese history. On December 2, 2008, the American Navy named new naval ship as Matthew Calbraith Perry, who opened new era for Japan during 1852-1854. Perry was the first person to change Japan. After WWII, General Douglas MacArthur was the second person to change Japan as the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in Japan for nearly 7 years until 1951. Will the Matthew Calbraith Perry frigates come to Japan again? If the Japanese right-wings (such as Tamogami Toshio) keep changing the history of the Second World War, someday the Matthew Calbraith Perry frigates might need to change Japan again. Who knows? You can never say never.
