Serbia Apology/Learning History-XI
On 31 March 2010, the Serbian Parliament (127 out 173 lawmakers) passed a landmark resolution condemning the 1995 Srebenica massacre – some 8,000 Bosnian Muslims died. In 2005, Serbian President Boris Tadic attended the 10th anniversary of the massacre and apologized to survivors there. Will Japan apology to China what the Japanese imperial army did in Nanjing?

After growing up and studying in China and Japan, Dr. Suganuma went to the U.S. for graduate studies, earning master’s degrees at both St. John's University (in Chinese studies) and Syracuse University (in international relations) as well as a Ph.D. (in geography) from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University.
