Russia Jet in Taiwan
“Out judgment was that since the unidentified aircraft was harmless, we handled the incident according to the standard operation procedure. We demanded the aircraft leave immediately,” stated air force Major General Wang Hsuan-chou. The Russian Tupolev TU-95 long-rang strategic bomber was detected on radar screens as if flew about 285 km off the island’s northeast coast in the afternoon of January 28. The Russian jet could have dropped 15 tons of bombs in the island.
