In the beginning of August, former President Bill Clinton visited North Korea asking for the release of two American journalists: Euna Lee and Laura Ling, who were sentenced 15 years in a labor camp. On 11 August 2009, the Chinese newspaper (Hong Kong Economic Journal) published a fantastic article (the author is a research associate from CISAC of Stanford University) regarding Clinton’s visit. During the summit North Korean leader Kim Jong Il enraged China. Recent activities by North Korea including the missiles launch, underground nuclear test, and refusing to participate in the six-party talk, which are aimed the Chinese, but not the Americans. “Our nuclear weapons cannot reach in the U.S., but it can launch into the west” – meaning China.
