German Army Stationing France/Learning History-I
The communiqué on 4 February 2009 by President of France Nicolas Sakozy and Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel is extremely interesting news. According to the agreement the Germany military will be stationed in France according to the BBC News. This is the first time since WWII when the Nazi army invaded France. Can anyone image that the Chinese government will allow the Japanese military to station in China, or the Korean government agrees that Japanese troops can have a military base in Korea? It will not be happened next year, nor next ten years, maybe even the next century. The Japanese should know the reasons “why not.” Unfortunately, a majority of the Japanese youth will not understand this “why not.” Today, many Japanese young people do not even really know what exactly happened during WWII including “Rape of Nanjing” and “Pearl Harbor.”
