The Chinese Military Cooperation with EU
China is considering becoming co-chair of a group with European Union to fight Somalia pirates. Recently, some Chinese vessels have kidnapped by Somalia pirates. However, so far the Chinese navy has operated independently in the Gulf of Aden. If the Chinese navy jointly operates with naval forces of EU, this will be co-lead the international task force fighting piracy off the horn of Africa, according to the Japanese media.
