Chinese Aerospace Industry/Doing Businesses in the Chinese Way-II
Today, only two aerospace companies: Boeing and Airbus, dominate the aerospace industry world-wide. . Now, the Chinese are trying to get into this monopoly industry. In 2008, the 90-seat passenger plane, ARJ21, made its successful flight. The ARJ21 might be suitable for regional and Chinese domestic flights. Another Chinese airplane is the C919, which can carry up to 190 passengers and is scheduling for entry into service in 2016. According to media in Hong Kong Beijingneeds to have following criterions: quality, reliability, performance, customer service, safety, and comfort to survive in the aerospace industry (South China Morning Post 9 September 2009).
