"Chimerica" Save North Korea-V
During the Korean War (1950-1953), Beijing and Pyongyang joined forces to fight against with the UN forces, led by the USA. On 22 November 2009, the Chinese Defense Liang Guanglie arrived in North Korea. Both Korean and Chinese media pledged to strengthen their military alliance, “sealing it in blood.” Kim Jong Il also met the Chinese defense minister. The last meeting between the leader of North Korea and the Chinese defense minister was more than 9 years ago. “No force on Earth can break the unity of the armies and peoples of the two countries and it will last forever (Japan Times),” Liang stated. What kinds of “games” are the Chinese playing right now?
