BRIC-V vs. VISTA?
Recently, the Japanese media begin to use the word, VISTA, which is taking capital letters from five nations: Vietnam, Indonesia, South Africa, Turkey, and Argentina, to describe the economic growth expansion in 2010 as the Japanese corporations are ready to extend their muscles. BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India, and China) has been the famous word since the global financial tsunami hit the world economy. Will VISTA take over BRIC in near future?
After growing up and studying in China and Japan, Dr. Suganuma went to the U.S. for graduate studies, earning master’s degrees at both St. John's University (in Chinese studies) and Syracuse University (in international relations) as well as a Ph.D. (in geography) from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University.
