Aso Visiting China
During the Japanese golden week, Aso Taro visited Beijingon the 29th. He met the Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and President Hu Jintao and talked about various issues. However, it seems that a number of isues of Sino-Japanese relations have not reached any resolve. While Aso emphasized the Chinese military expenses, Wen criticized Aso’s donation of a potted plant to Yasukuni Shrine. Meanwhile, North Koreaissued a statement threatening to conduct nuclear and missile tests if UN does not apology for criticizing its April 5 rocket launch. Can both Japan and Chinadeal with North Korea while leaders in Tokyo and Beijingagree to solve issues of Sino-Japanese relations?
